738LC is a low-carbon nickel base superalloy that has precipitation hardening by the Ni3 (Al, Ti) phase for work in the additive manufacturing, aerospace and power plant industries. Also, at a high level up to 700 degrees, it shows a change in strength and proper creep properties, which is suitable for high temperature working conditions and industries. Key Properties: • Tensile strength, fatigue resistance, and creep resistance up to 1300°F (704°C). • Customizable properties through heat treatment
• Resistance to chlorides, stress corrosion, and sulfide stress cracking
Applications:
• Jet engine and high-speed airframe parts
• Instrumentation devices
• Gas turbine components
• Oil and gas tooling
• Impellers for high temperature operation
